I know I’m like a year late to this video but THANK YOU, Interstellar is my favourite movie of all time and I don’t think it gets as much credit as it should.
Heads up before renting: this is the Theatrical Release which is considered inferior by many. There have been several different cuts of the film released over the years – most people seem to prefer the Final Cut or the Director’s Cut. This version contains narration by Harrison Ford, un-remastered scenes (from what I hear most people actually like the remastered and edited scenes in this film – it’s not a case like the Star Wars edits) a different intro sequence to explain the story to audiences, and an ending which Ridley Scott didn’t like and which is changed in the recent cuts. If you just want to watch a film for a quick, sit-down viewing then this version might be sufficient; but if you want the full experience and to see the film how it was intended to be seen, most fans seem to recommend finding one of the other cuts.

I’m glad they programmed an event with all the films where Zimmer’s music is featured in at my local theater. I went to see it again after years and cried more than once, what a masterpiece of a movie.
This movie was a doubt Nolan’s best.

What an amazing universe we live in, what a fantastic planet we inhabit. stupid creatures we are to be so blind we fight over nothing and miss the big picture. film sums up why we need to change.

That background organ music is what pumps extra emotional depths and physical dimensions into this scene. It is the umbilical cord that connects the ordinary human experiences with the higher-dimensional manifestations of time.

They told him while in school that he is not talented for music and that he should let these dreams go. Probably not a day goes by without those teachers feeling empty inside for saying that to Hans. How many dreams do we ruin ladies and gentlemen? As parents, teachers, and mentors. Because we judge others by our standards of living. How many Zimmers, Ronaldos, Picassos out there are forced to live someone else’s dreams.

Imagine the feeling of both of your children thinking you’re dead and you can’t tell them you’re still alive.
They that the movie represents is actually Murph herself. It is not 5th dimensional beings or future humans. It is Murph who collects the quantum data from her father and builds the space station near Saturn and even the wormhole. I know this is tricky. But, trust me. It is a mindfuck! When Cooper sends quantum data to Murph, that is it.! BOOM! You are like. GOD. You know the deepest secret of the universe. That quantum data enables you to understand the sub particle nature and you can build a tesseract and even the wormhole! The tesseract was even placed by these Cooper – Murph devil – duo who saves the humanity from the dying earth. You can ask, how could they construct the wormhole and even the tesseract before Cooper went into the tesseract? Haha 😀 That’s what makes him Nolan. Remember… inside the black hole, time is standing still, in other words, time doesn’t exist at all. So, every moment in that bedroom is already present and will be there forever. And the very concept of before, after doesn’t make sense inside the black hole. So. They need not be necessarily 5th dimensional beings or future humans, because there is no future, past inside a black hole. Everything is present. When TARS says Cooper, they didn’t bring us hear to change the past., Cooper says Say that again… This is the fucking clue that Nolan is giving us that this very dialogue is the most important line in the movie. He next says They didn’t bring us at all. We brought ourselves. WE BROUGHT OURSELVES! And that’s it. It is a mind boggling paradox and that’s the beauty of the film. It constantly negates and corrects itself at the same time. And this, in a bigger picture explains the very purpose of our existence and our constant struggle to deceive the reality.

I don’t care what anyone says, the Dark Knight trilogy is the greatest trilogy ever on film. You can make a case for all 3 whether Batman Begins, The Dark Knight or The Dark Knight Rises. Giving all 3 movies AT LEAST 4 stars. Great Cast, Great Director, Great Storylines for all 3. Christian Bale is the best live action Batman to me, even though I would not argue for those who choose Michael Keaton because I have Keaton as a close 2nd 👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾.

Even before I watched the movie, I was hooked on this OST and I didn’t knew why. Something about it connects me with the Cosmos. I love playing this music in the background, whilst reading The Cosmos by Carl Sagan. Or just get your headphones on and stare at the cold and beautiful night sky (of course, when it’s clear) and gasp at the beauty our universe presents to us in the sky. The stars look like like scattered pieces of diamond.

They have access to infinte time and space but they’re not bound by anything they can’t find a specific point in time. That’s a subtle God(Divinity) reference by Nolan right there. Absolutely genius.
